• American cranberry – standardized extract (40% proanthocyanidins type A). The plant has a clinically proven effect against urinary tract infections. American cranberry locates the E. coli bacteria and detaches them from the walls of the urinary tract.¹ The pathogens can then be excreted from the body. Unlike antibiotics, the extract works specifically on disease-causing E. coli without harming beneficial bacteria. The standard daily dose of CystiRen contains 72 mg of type A proanthocyanidins, which is twice the minimum effective dose. This guarantees CystiRen’s fast and reliable effect.
• Goldenrod – standardized extract (5% flavonoids). The herb has a potassium-retaining diuretic effect. The extract prevents urine buildup in the bladder, which can give rise to infections. If there is already an infection, Goldenrod prevents it from worsening. Flavonoids can help relax the smooth muscle of the bladder, thereby relieving discomfort (painful cramping and burning) when urinating. The Goldenrod extract has an immunomodulating effect and provides overall support for the body. The extract helps to reduce inflammatory processes on the walls of the bladder and its tissues.2
